How do I configure the LDI-100? You can access the LDI-100
configuration web pages from any computer on your LAN. You can
also configure the LDI-100 remotely.
Can anybody dial in and access my cameras? No. You can configure your user name and password to lock out unauthorized users.
Can I watch live video from my cameras? Video requires a higher data rate
than dial-up can provide. An image 160x120 pixels (using maximal
JPEG compression) typically takes 3 seconds to load; an image
640x480 typically takes 30 seconds..
Can I share my phone line with a telephone, an answering machine, and an LDI-100? Yes,. The best way is to purchase a Telephone Line Sharing device such as the Command Communications ComSwitch CS5500 (www.commandcommunications.com)
